With just under two months to go until the start of the majors, the busy CS:GO tournament schedule is ready to delight fans with some cool stops. During the spring months, we will be able to watch three major championships, among which BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 stands out, of course.

And while the teams are getting ready to buy tickets and attending the last closed qualifiers in their respective regions, here's what's on the horizon for fans of eSports on the CS:GO calendar this spring.

The first stop will be at the end of March, just a couple of days after the conclusion of ESL Pro League Season 17. The teams won't have to travel anywhere, though, as BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2023 will take place online in two regions, Europe and North America.

As before, the tournament will offer a trip to the BLAST Premier Spring Finals, one for each region.

BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2023 will offer a classic format with a single elimination grid, where each team will compete for survival and the right to travel to Washington, DC in June.

Both regional championships will take place between March 29 and April 2.

European BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2023 entry list:

Immediately after the regional RMR tournaments, some of the best teams on the planet will travel to Rio de Janeiro where the CS:GO majors were held last autumn.

The carnival capital of Brazil will be playing host to a week of action-packed matches involving teams such as FaZe Clan, NAVI, Heroic and the Outsiders.

IEM Rio 2023 will take place from 17 to 23 April in Rio de Janeiro at the Jeunesse Arena. Sixteen competitors from CIS, Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia will compete for a combined prize pool of $250,000, as well as a trip to IEM Cologne 2023 for the winner.

The line-up for IEM Brazil Rio 2023:

• FaZe Clan, NAVI, FURIA, Team Vitality, OG, Cloud9, Ninjas in Pyjamas, MOUZ, fnatic, Outsiders, Heroic, 9INE, BIG, IHC Esports, MIBR and 9z.

The championship will begin with a group stage where all sixteen competitors will be divided into two groups. Three teams from each group will qualify for the play-offs, which will form a single elimination grid. Already in the grand final, which will take place in the BO5 format, the winner of IEM Brazil Rio 2023 will be determined.

The main stop on the CS:GO tournament schedule is the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. During the month of May, the best teams will gather in Paris to determine the next major winner.

The format of the tournament is known in advance and is divided into several stages:

• Challengers - May 8-11, 2023;

• Legends - May 13-16, 2023;

• Champions - 18-21 May 2023.

All participants in the Championship will be determined by the results of regional RMR tournaments to be held in early April in Copenhagen (for Europe), Mongolia (for Asia) and Mexico (for America).

Twenty-four teams from the three combined regions will take part in the championships in the following distribution:

• Europe (17 places - 7 vouchers for Legends, 7 vouchers for Challengers, 3 vouchers for Contenders);

• America (5 places - 1 trip to Legends, 1 trip to Challengers, 3 trips to Contenders);

• Asia (2 places - 2 vouchers for the Contenders).

This order is determined by the results of each major, and the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 will be no exception.

Thus, the spring will be a welcome gift for all CS:GO fans. The three major championships, as well as a number of interesting qualifiers, are all events that will be remembered for a long time.
