Time to Feed

Now that you know that each animal in the game needs a specific food to eat, let's start with the easiest to feed: the Squirrel. The Squirrel's favorite food is the peanut, which can be purchased from Remy's Store located in the kitchen section of Chez Remy. To feed this cute critter, you simply just approach it and give it some peanuts.

Now for the Fox. This creature can be found in the Frosted Heights and they eat some White Sturgeon. The said fish can be acquired by fishing in the orange ripples in Frosted Heights. Unlike the Squirrel, you will need to chase the Fox around until they stop. Then and only then can you approach them.

For the Raccoons, you will need some blueberries from the bushes in Forest of Valor or Dazzle Beach. To feed Raccoons, you have to sneak in slowly because startling them will cause the critters to run away.

What is the Rabbit's favorite food? Yup, carrots! You can grow carrots in your backyard, so pick some if you are to feed the Rabbits. Anyway, go to the Peaceful Meadow and search for the said creature. When you find one, approach it and the animal will start running away. You have to chase it several times before the critter lets you feed it.

The Crocodiles in Disney Dreamlight Valley need some lobsters. Go to the orange ripples in the Glade of Trust to obtain them. Once you have enough supply, search for some Crocodiles in the same biome.  You need to be careful because if they see you, they will be hostile or run away. To feed the Crocodile, you have to go in slowly and make sure that its head is down before you make an approach. When you get close enough, a prompt should pop up that will allow you to give them the lobsters.

The Sea Turtles love some seaweed, so go to any body of water in the game to acquire some. When you have enough, go to Dazzle Beach and look for the turtles. Once you've found one, approach it and wait until its head pops out of the shell.

Before feeding the Hummingbirds, get some Orange Houseleek in the Sunlit Plateau. Fortunately, the birds are found in the same biome as well. Unlike the other animals where you have to be patient to feed them, the Hummingbirds are the exact opposite. If anything, they encourage you to run as fast as you can before they fly away. When you get close enough, you should be able to give them their favorite food.

Ravens are a bit classy when it comes to their favorite food. That's because they eat any 5-star food in the game. After cooking up a meal worthy of a Michelin Star, go to the Forgotten Lands and approach the Ravens. Doing so will make them fly around you in circles. Wait for them to finish and give them their just rewards.

Capybaras are easy to feed. Just approach them and give them some bamboo. Easy, right?

Just like the Ravens, Monkeys need to get their hands on some 5-star food. Head to Ancient's Landing and search for them. Feeding Monkeys is similar to Rabbits in that you just follow them around until they're ready to be fed.

And lastly, Cobras in the Glittering Dunes are a bit finicky to feed. They act the same way as Crocodiles in that if you get too close too quickly, they will turn aggressive. So, just be patient and walk slowly towards them, making sure that their hands are bobbed down before you make your advance. Once you're close enough, feed them some Scorpions that you can also find in the Glittering Dunes.

So there you have it! Now that you know how to feed animals in Disney Dreamlight Valley, which of these critters will you go for first?
