The upcoming adventure game, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, developed by Wolfenstein studio MachineGames and overseen by Bethesda and executive producer Todd Howard, is set to bridge the iconic narratives of "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and "The Last Crusade." A Narrative Between Legends

During the Xbox Developer Direct live show, MachineGames designers provided insights into the game's plot, clarifying that it takes place between the stories of the first and third Indiana Jones films. The narrative unfolds as Indiana, working at Marshall College, responds to a break-in at the College museum.

A mysterious thief absconds with what initially appears to be a historically insignificant artifact, prompting Indiana to embark on a quest that leads him to the Vatican. Here, he unravels a tale far more complex than anticipated.

From the Vatican to the Ends of the Earth

The game promises a globetrotting adventure, taking players from the heart of the Vatican to the pyramids of Egypt, the snow-peaked Himalayas, and beyond. Bethesda's additional insight, mentioning "the lush and sunken temples of Sukhothai," adds intriguing new locations to the list of environments players can explore.
