Defensive Stand Against Accusations

Responding to claims from anonymous sources and bloggers, Fntastic denied financial wrongdoing, emphasizing their transparent business practices. The studio highlighted their commitment to players by refunding all, even those who did not request it, post-closure.

Fntastic revealed that Propnight, another of their games, played a role in financing The Day Before's development, selling almost a million copies since late 2021. Addressing controversies about The Day Before's nature, Fntastic defended its employee relationships, refuting claims with evidence of a positive working environment.

Content Creator Critique and Future Endeavors

Fntastic criticized bloggers for exploiting the game's development ambiguity, attributing the negative bias to a damaging impact on both the game and the studio's reputation. Despite The Day Before's closure, Fntastic hinted at continuing game development on undisclosed projects, urging followers to stay connected through social networks.

The Day Before, launched in December, faced immediate backlash and an early access shutdown. Fntastic, undeterred, navigates a tumultuous journey, hinting at future ventures as The Day Before's brief yet controversial chapter concludes.
