Diablo IV players who have always wanted to get their hands on The Shako might finally have that dream realized in a new update that is set to be released next week. Blizzard confirms that the community will be able to craft uber unique items when the patch drops on Tuesday.

Uber Rare No More

When Diablo IV was released in June of last year, players discovered that some of the highly coveted items, such as the Stone of Jordan and the ever-elusive Harlequin Crest, more popularly known as "The Shako," are pretty hard to obtain. So hard, in fact, that Blizzard had to implement a way to farm these uber unique items by repeating Uber Duriel runs.

Now, taking down Uber Duriel is relatively easy for those who know Diablo IV's mechanics at heart. But for casual players, the said boss is just too challenging to defeat. The only way for these people to get their hands on the uber unique items is if they are helped by the more knowledgeable players in the community.

Earlier this month, Blizzard advised players who were able to acquire the rarest items in the game to hold onto them for the time being. Many were baffled as to why the company would say this, but now we know why.

Time to Craft

In a new patch that is slated for release on February 13, Blizzard is going to introduce Uber Unique Crafting to the game. Basically, players who have some uber unique items in their possession that they do not like or need can salvage them for a new resource called Resplendent Sparks.

Players who have five Resplendent Sparks can head to the Alchemist and transmute these into an uber unique item of their choice. With this feature, players who have been dreaming of getting their hands on The Shako will finally be able to when the patch drops next week.

Now, Diablo IV players who do not want to engage in crafting for some reason and would just love to slay the minions of Hell are not left out. According to the patch notes, the company is set to increase the drop chance of uber unique items outside of Uber Duriel encounters. As to how much, that still remains to be seen.

So, what can you say about the upcoming feature in Diablo IV? Are you excited about it or do you think that it is too little, too late?
