Now that you know what a rune is in Enshrouded, what are the best ways to farm it? The absolute best way to get this resource is by defeating enemies on the map.
When you look at the overworld map, you will find that some areas seem to have white clouds on them. These areas are typically covered in thick fog, which means that they are rife with monsters that you can eliminate for runes and other in-game resources. Once you defeat the enemies, just loot their corpses to gain some runes.
An alternative to defeating enemies for runes is by salvaging some extra gear in your inventory. Take a good look at your inventory and search for any equipment that you are no longer using. Click on it and you should be presented with a couple of options asking you whether you want to delete the item or salvage it. Choose the latter option to get some runes.
