Survival horror players might rejoice as Sons of the Forest, the highly acclaimed survival horror game by Endnight Games, has officially launched its 1.0 version after a year in early access. The latest update introduces a slew of new features, including a creative mode that allows players to experience the game without constraints.

Sons of the Forest 1.0 brings several noteworthy additions and improvements. Among the key updates are:

Story Enhancements:

  • A new title sequence and end credits with enhanced details, visuals, and music.
  • The introduction of a choice-based alternate ending.
  • Five new cutscenes to deepen the narrative experience.
  • Revamped voice acting and details in various cutscenes.

  • Introduction of a sickness system caused by consuming contaminated water or spoiled food, with remedies available.

However, players must complete the main story to unlock this mode.

The extensive list of patch notes includes improvements such as the addition of proximity voice chat, new mutants, expanded world details, and optimizations for a smoother gaming experience.
