Modern Warfare 3 Levels Up with 1v1 Playlist and Walking Dead Extravaganza

As part of the weekly playlist update, Modern Warfare 3 introduced a 1v1 Shipment playlist, allowing players to engage in intense one-on-one battles on the classic map. While the inclusion of a 1v1 playlist isn't entirely novel, its infrequent appearance makes it an exciting addition for players to explore before it rotates out.

1v1 Playlist and The Walking Dead Extravaganza

Simultaneously, the Walking Dead-themed event, titled "Fear the Living," went live, offering players a chance to earn exclusive rewards until March 6. This limited-time event features seven cosmetic items, including the coveted "Barbed and Dangerous" camo, culminating as the final reward. Players can also acquire three double XP tokens during the event. Notably, The Walking Dead enthusiasts can acquire the Michonne Operator Bundle for 2,400 COD Points through the in-game store.

Additional Updates and Adjustments

Hordepoint Mode Enhancements: Sledgehammer Games addressed user concerns by increasing the drop rate for Mimic skulls in the new Hordepoint mode. This adjustment aims to provide a more balanced experience for players participating in the Horde Hunt event.

New Aftermarket Attachment: Sledgehammer Games expanded the list of Aftermarket Attachments in Modern Warfare 3 by introducing the JAK Glassless Optic sight. Unlockable through weekly challenges, this futuristic sight offers a unique visual experience, though it might not dethrone the popular MK. 3 Reflector as the game's meta sight due to its larger screen presence.
