After a couple of months since he was first revealed, Peacemaker has finally arrived in Mortal Kombat 1. Along with the new character is a huge patch that adds "Krossplay" support and more.
Ready for Kombat
Peacemaker has finally been added to the Mortal Kombat 1 roster. He, along with his majestic bald eagle named "Eagly," is now ready to dispense pain to whoever comes their way.
Those who watched Peacemaker's hit TV show will be familiar with all his moves. But for those who haven't, he can use Eagly to swoop in when the enemy least expects it. He can also perform a headbutt that is enhanced by the special helmet he's wearing.
The great thing about Peacemaker is that he is voiced by none other than John Cena himself. The iconic WWE wrestler does not disappoint with his funny quips and charismatic voice.
Peacemaker is part of the Kombat Pack 1 DLC. Players who have this particular DLC can just download the latest update for Mortal Kombat 1. Those who are interested in getting Peacemaker will have to spend $39.99 to get the DLC. Do not worry, players will have access to other DLC characters, including Quan Chi, Ermac, Homelander, Takahashi Takeda, and Omni-Man.
Crossplay Now Available
NetherRealm Studios wants Mortal Kombat 1 players to engage in battle no matter what platform they choose to play the game. Thankfully, the highly anticipated crossplay feature (called "Krossplay") is now available via a new update.
This feature allows those on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC to enroll in a queue until they get matched up by the system. Unfortunately, Krossplay is not available to those who are on Nintendo Switch, probably because of the portable gaming console's specs.
