The VP of Game Ecosystems, Mobile at EFG, Sam Braithwaite, emphasized the growth of mobile ESports in modern times, adding that mobile is the future of ESports. The second year of the Snapdragon Pro Series had significant growth and had nearly 1 billion matches played.

This was an increase of more than 13,000% from the year prior and had 4.4 million competitors sign up from various reaches of the globe. Additionally, viewership spiked, with 23.7 million hours watched in total, marking a 231% increase from the previous year, according to OneEsports.

The series' third year will include a diverse range of competitions starting with the Mobile Open across various titles through April and will conclude with the Mobile Masters in 2025. A new game will be added to Masters-level competitions in Southeast Asia, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

Southeast Asia is a region where mobile gaming consumption has been doubling every year for the past four years. This year, the Call of Duty: Mobile ESports circuit will also make a comeback alongside expanded partnerships with Moonton Games and Supercell.

All of these collaborations are designed to give fans of mobile ESports more options to watch games, compete, and win in some of the most popular mobile games that are available for players worldwide today.

The third year of the Snapdragon Pro Series will also include Seasons 5 and 6 of the series' championships. The games that will be played this year are Brawl Stars, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Free Fire, Clash of Clans, and Call of Duty: Mobile, according to ESports.net.

The inclusion of Brawl Stars into the Snapdragon Pro Series is unique compared to other games in the list. This is because the SPS has taken over the entire Brawl Stars Championship, hosting the roadmap leading into the World Finals at the end of the year.

The ESL revealed in a press release that the SPS Free Fire will kick off with the Mobile Open in Latin America. It also confirmed that top teams in the game's pro scene will have a chance to make it to international events but has not given any further details.

On the other hand, the SPS Clash of Clans competition will feed into the official Clash of Clans Last Chance Qualifier tournament. There will be a pipeline to the title's World Championship and the international circuit will give fans more chances to compete at the highest level, according to Bleeding Cool.
