A new life-sim title is expected to come out later this year, known as inZOI, that is being made by PUBG publisher Krafton.

The latest information dump comes as not much yet is known about the life sim and the developers wanted to show off a lot of the things that they have been working on. The recent reveal includes drivable cars with color customization, autosave functionality, group activities, difficulty settings, and a reputation system.

The game's project director, Hyungjun Kim, said that one of the most -requested features for inZOI is drivable cars. He added that driving in the upcoming life-sim will not be the same as in titles like Grand Theft Auto. The driving system was created strictly with "life simulation in mind."

Players will be able to get inside a car and see things from a first-person driver's seat view. However, it looks like all you get to do is be along for the ride and not actually be in control of the car itself, according to PCGamer.

You will also be able to invite other characters, who are called "zones," to hop in when you stop near them. If players happen to be riding inside a convertible, other characters may be impressed as they see your car.

The game director also describes a reputation system that will be implemented in inZOi that is currently called "karma." This is influenced by players' good and bad deeds within the game. When they lean in either direction, there are new actions that could become available such as tripping someone or stealing money.

This also includes actions that you make even when you're alone and not seen by any other zois. Kim said that players' actions could have an effect on their future offspring as well. He said that this is still a work in progress and they are taking community feedback into consideration.

A Bunch of New Features

Another feature that inZOI will include is City Edit so that players can control urban billboards, weather, and cleanliness. There will also be a Photo Mode to allow you to capture high-resolution screenshots, said ComicBook.

The recently released roadmap gives fans a clue as to what would be coming next for inZOI but Krafton has not yet announced a release date for the upcoming life-sim. Fortunately, the developer is expected to drop another reveal of the roadmap next month.

Kim said that since the first trailer of inZOI was released late last year, they have felt immense interest from global fans regarding the new life-sim. He asked for continued support from the community, including honest and diverse feedback through their Discord and SNS channels.

The release of inZOI, which could be this year, will be met with a lot of competition from titles such as The Sims 5 by Maxis, which is considered to be the life-sim to go to, according to ReadWrite.
