Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced the release today of Cold, Cold Heart, the first DLC pack for Batman: Arkham Origins. As previously announced the add-on will feature a brand new story featuring the return of Mr. Freeze to the series. True to the name of the game (which was a prequel to the previous Arkham titles) this will feature Mr. Freeze's first encounter with Batman. It is set on New Year's eve and will feature new locations such as Wayne Manor and GothCorp, and offer Batman new weapons like the Thermochaged Batarangs, Thermal Gloves, and a new Extreme Environment (XE) suit to better fight off Freeze and his Cryo-thugs.
On the fence whether this is worth it or not? You can watch the first half hour of this DLC right here. Don't worry about it ruining too much- they are claiming the DLC will offer hours and hours of new content.
You can buy Cold, Cold Heart on PSN, Xbox Live Games Store and Steam for $9.99. Players who have purchased the season pass will get it and future content. The Season Pass normally costs $19.99 but it's only $9.99 for Xbox Live Gold users, giving you no reason to pass it up if you're getting the game for Xbox 360.
