Spotify Wrapped has been one of the most popular recap that every music lover waits for each year. For Discord users, they haven't seen such a feature even in the past year. But now, the platform has listened to the demand of the users through the personalized and all-new Discord Checkpoint recap.
This very first feature lets fans explore their activity, interactions, and engagement across servers, offering a fun reflection of how they spent the year on the platform.
What is Discord Checkpoint?
Discord Checkpoint is a year-end recap tool that aims to summarize your activity on the app. Much like Spotify Wrapped or YouTube Rewind, it brings forward your most-used servers, the total amount of messages sent, and other unique statistics. This is a fun way to see how your Discord experience played out during the year.
Users will be given one of ten different checkpoint cards featuring an avatar decoration that can be used until January 15, 2026. Show off your personality and year in Discord on both mobile and desktop.

The rollout started on Thursday, Dec. 4, but Discord says full availability will take a few days. To view your recap, just do the following, according to Dexerto.
On Desktop:
- Update to the latest version of the Discord app.
- Look for the Checkpoint icon at the top right of the screen.
On Mobile:
- Make sure your app is updated.
- Tap your profile picture at the bottom right.
- Tap the Checkpoint banner to see your summary.
If you don't see a Checkpoint, that may mean you didn't have enough activity in 2025 or that you've disabled the "Use data to personalize my Discord experience" setting within your privacy options.
Here's Why Discord Checkpoint Matters
Year-in-review features like Discord Checkpoint give users a deep view into their social and entertainment patterns. It's a look back on favorite communities, top interactions, and memorable conversations; it also incentivizes engagement, giving users a shareable card to flex these stats across their social media platforms.
The platform knows that it's an interactive way to celebrate the year and motivate users to stay active in 2026. Since it's just the first-ever launch, we expect to see newer features for the next release.
