A new update is coming to "Marvel Rivals" that will deliver a new hero, stories, character changes, and more to the game.
Season 7 follows a massive update from last season as NetEase Games introduced one of the most iconic characters in the Marvel franchise, Deadpool, and then followed by Elsa Bloodstone.
'Marvel Rivals' Season 7: New Hero Unveiled
NetEase Games shared the patch notes for its upcoming update to the game, with version 20260320 representing the Season 7 release of "Marvel Rivals" that is scheduled to drop later this week.
One of the biggest revelations here is the new hero that will join the roster at the start of the season, as well as the second hero that will join in the mid-season update.
First, the new hero coming this Friday is none other than the South Korean Kumiho super-spy, White Fox. "Ami Han" is best known to be part of the new age of heroes that were created in recent times, with the Korean super spy combining her espionage skills and mystical shapeshifting ability, also known as the Kumiho.
White Fox is joining the roster as a Strategist and is already expected to make an impact in the game.
The next character joining the game in Season 7.5 is Black Cat. The notorious thief based in New York City, who is closely affiliated with Spider-Man, is coming in the mid-season update later this month.
What to Expect From 'Marvel Rivals' Season 7
Season 7 will be available starting this Friday, March 20, at 9 a.m. UTC. NetEase Games also said that there will be a system maintenance that will last for two hours.
Three new stories are dropping this Season 7, including: "The Hunt is On" (New Serial), "Shards of Hope" (New White Fox Lore), and "Real Power" (New Captain America Lore).
Overpowered characters like Elsa Bloodstone and Daredevil are getting nerfed after causing chaos in the game. Alongside them, the Winter Soldier, Doctor Strange, and Deadpool (Vanguard) are also getting nerfed.
On the other hand, characters like Hulk, Blade, Black Panther, Deadpool (Duelist), Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, and Luna Snow are getting buffs. That said, Gambit, Invisible Woman, Magik, and White Queen are getting tuned.
