Android 4.4.3 KitKat Update: Release Date Rumor Says Patch Is Coming Sooner Than You Might Think

Android 4.4.3 KitKat Rumor Says Release Date is Coming Very Soon

The next Android KitKat update, 4.4.3, has been announced for a while, but no exact release date has been named. Now, online sources are claiming the update will hit as soon as tomorrow.

Google Becomes The World's Most Valuable Brand

The folks over at Android Geeks are citing sources who claim the update will drop on May 23 for the Google Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10. The update will likely hit non-Google manufactured devices at a later date, with Samsung expected to skip 4.4.2 and jump right to the upcoming 4.4.3.

While this update is being waited on (and we will see tomorrow if this report is true), it's worth noting that Google is likely working on an entirely new Android version at the same time. The new Android, if it's in development, would most probably be revealed at Google's I/O event this June.
