The live Super Smash Bros. tournament at E3 is kicking off right now, and will represent the first real-time gameplay footage seen by the public.
Lady Palutena Revealed As New Playable Character
Professional esports players have been gathered for the tournament by Nintendo, set to face off against one another shortly. By choosing pro players, creating the highest-level competiton possible for the live performance, which should lead to a more entertaining show.
The build they are playing is a demo version, the same that will be available to the public at select Best Buy locations soon. Not all of the characters or features are available, leaving 20 selectable for the 16 players competing.
