'Let It Die' PS4 E3 Trailer, New Game From 'No More Heroes' Creator Suda51 Puts You In A Brutal Fight To Survive

Suda51 is back with his latest over-the-top, ridiculously themed and unique game Let It Die. The newest title is a survival action game...with a twist. The trailer is big on bloodsport and short on story, but nevertheless draws you in, as all Suda51 games will do.

Everybody's Gone To The Rapture Trailer Shows Off A Lonely Apocalypse

In what I can only assume is some sort of semi-futuristic gladiator arena, the trailer shows imposing men, all with gamertags floating above their heads, waging war against one another. A hulking brute of a man begins the trailer with nothing, and winds up with a great many pieces of armor and weaponry, trophies he has claimed from his fallen victims. It's violence, it's wild, hell, it's Suda51.

The legendary game auteur is responsible for some of the most cracked out, hyperviolent titles of the last generation, including killer7, No More Heroes and more recently, Lollipop Chainsaw. Undeterred by such petty things like 'profit' Suda51 will do what Suda51 will do. His latest outing teams him up with Grasshopper Manufacture and GungHo Online Entertainment.

Stronghold Crusader II Sets Release For September

"SUDA51 and Grasshopper Manufacture have built a strong reputation delivering action games with a distinct visual and narrative flair. With the creative input from GungHo Online Entertainment, LET IT DIE promises to deliver an intense survival action-focused experience for players," said Kazuki Morishita, CEO of GungHo Online Entertainment, Inc. "E3 was the ideal stage to take the cover off this unique game and we're sure fans will be eager for our next unveiling."

The game was originally titled Lily Bergamo, which admittedly, is just as vague as Let It Die. It will be released exclusively for the PS4 next year. The ESRB Rating is pending, but do we really have to guess what that might be?

Watch the trailer below and remember...

Let it die! Let it die! Let it die! Let it diiiiie!
