If there is any truer sign that Nintendo has reached 'the next gen', announcing Day One DLC for the upcoming Hyrule Warriors from Tecmo Koei is it. Sony and Microsoft do it, literally, all the time, why shouldn't Nintendo get in on the action? The Day One DLC for Warriors is a costume pack for several of the characters.
A New Challenger Approaches: Lana, The White Witch Of Hyrule
There are three editions to Hyrule Warriors in Japan, which is getting the game first in August: a standard, Premium Box and Treasure Box set. Each set will arrive with the 'Courage' costume gallery, which contains three costumes for your Hyrulian denizens. The official site showed off two of the new digs. Check them out below.
The first is a new tunic for Link, which dresses him up as he looked in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Wii. Given the game's slightly darker storyline, it's a fitting addition to the lineup in Warriors, which strays far from the typical Zelda game and becomes more of a hack 'n' slasher. In the long list of Zelda games, it's one of my favorites. Link's two other costumes for the standard edition have not been revealed.
Clash of Clans Update Revamps King And Queen Units
Premium and Treasure Box buyers, however, will receive the 'Wisdom' costume set. The set gives titular Princess Zelda the Twilight Princess look, which is among one of her strongest and most mature designs in the series history.
Hyrule Warriors hits Japan this August and makes landfall here in the States on September 26.
