'Titanfall' DLC Frontier's Edge Announced, Three New Maps Coming To Xbox One Exclusive FPS Title

Respawn Entertainment is pleased to announce the next DLC for their first person mech-fighter Titanfall. Named Frontier's Edge, the DLC pack will include three new maps for the critically acclaimed Xbox One exclusive title.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection Gets An Arbiter-centric Trailer

Frontier's Edge is the second of three planned DLC packages. The first, Expedition, hit servers in May and was very well received. The DLC pack will retail for $9.99. If you know you're going to download this new content, you can buy a season pass for $24.99 and get Expedition right now, and Frontier's Edge and the as yet unannounced third DLC pack whenever that hits. No release date has been set for Frontier's Edge at this time, but considering the game was released in March and already saw its first new content in May, an end of summer/early autumn release date seems likely.

The three new maps include: the isolated mining outpost of Dig Site, the exclusive beach resort of Haven and the mining hub on the side of a mountain known as Export. Sounds to me like there are a lot of things in need of blowing up there.

Endless Legend Steam Early Access Game Gets A Beta

Titanfall is one of the great, and few Xbox exclusives this generation and features epic giant robot action. Players can switch in and out of their mech depending on the situation, and take to the ground and even steal other player's robot in a desperate, Saving Private Ryan-esque battle. The game is also available on Xbox 360 and Origin for the PC.
