Halo The Master Chief Edition Video From RTX Panel Shows Off Multi-Game Menu System and Redesigned Maps

Halo: The Master Chief Collection was one of the highlights of E3 when 343 Industries announced that it would be packing all four past main Halo titles into one box.

No Man's Sky Multiplayer Features Discussed In Hello Games Interview

343 and Certain Affinity attended this weekend's Rooster Teeth Expo and held a panel giving a better look at the game, which you can watch below. It's an hour long, so I wouldn't expect most people to watch the whole thing through, but just a couple of minutes will give you a look at how the collection will work.

As we saw briefly during its E3 debut and is shown in the video below, the game's menu system allows you to easily switch between the four titles on the fly. You can select any of the games' campaigns from the same screen, or change over to multiplayer for each individual title.

Project Spark Release Date Announced, Will Remain Free On Windows And Xbox One

A Halo 2 Anniversary edition has long been rumored and desired by fans of the series, and is being included in this package. Halo: Combat Evolved never had online multiplayer, meaning its appearance in The Master Chief Collection will be its first foray into Xbox Live.

The video demonstrates all of this with commentary from 343 members such as Andy "Bravo" Dudynsky, who had long been involved in the competitive Halo community before getting a job at the studio as Community Manager. The panel explains the UI, and how it all lead to the unified experience you see in the end product. It's interesting for any fan of the series or console owner anticipating The Master Chief Collection, so I'd recommend giving at least some of it a watch.
