Interest in Korean MMO ArcheAge is higher than anyone expected, with more than a million players either being selected for the closed beta or buying in. This weekend, the Trion and XL Games MMO has its first closed beta world event, A Brighter Age.
ArcheAge Players Already Bribing In-Game Juries In Alpha Mode
Coming hot on the heels of the earlier reports about players bribing juries in ArcheAge's alpha mode already, this is honestly very telling about many of you! Yeah, I thought it was awesome too. All you North American and European hopefuls can get a first taste of perversion of justice from now till 10am PDT July 21.
Says ArcheAge's producer in an open letter: "Please do keep in mind - There's real testing going on during these Closed Beta Events! This isn't "just a marketing beta." We're evaluating gameplay as well as infrastructure during these events, and we'll be following up with an online survey at the conclusion of beta to collect even more of your thoughts. It's important for us that you tell us how the game plays and feels! We take your feedback in combination with performance data from the game itself, and review it all in partnership with XLGAMES with a goal of constantly improving, to ensure the game is as good as possible for you when it goes live later this year."

If you were not selected for the closed beta, you can still buy into it here and become a Founder. There's three tiers of Founderhood, all with its own perks such as a set of Desert Assassin armor.
