A new cinematic trailer has been released for League of Legends, entertaining fans with a six minute battle sequence featuring the game's characters.

Destiny Beta Now Offline, New Pre-Order Content Revealed

While not representative of the gameplay seen in Riot Games' MOBA, the trailer is a lot of fun and offers a conceptual look at the combat and powers on display in League of Legends.

It's certainly a no-holds-barred battle, not shying away from some more violent moments, and fans will no doubt be entertained by seeing some of the abilities and attacks carried out in full CGI. The production values are quite high and it looks great--worth the watch even if you're not a fan of the genre, like The Old Republic's great pre-rendered trailers before it.

It's likely no coincidence that Riot released the new trailer the day after Valve's Dota 2 The International 4 tournament wrapped up, looking to regain the spotlight after $5 million in prize money was given out in yesterday's final. Team Newbee took home first prize, defeating ViCi in a best of five series, while North American team Evil Geniuses took third.

You can watch Riot's new video below, which I definitely recommend. Though ultimately meaningless and not promoting a particular event (just the game itself), it's a good time that's worth the six and a half minute run time.
