Honestly, it's a real thing! Hatoful Boyfriend is a real, genuine game about pigeon loving being developed by Mediatonic (Amatuer Surgeon, Foul Play) and published by the madmen and women at Devolver Digital.
This is actually the HD remake of a free online game that was released back in 2011, an incredible avian success that spawned a webcomic, a radio production, even a web series. It's exactly what it sounds like, too, a take on the strangest game genre that exists, the Japanese Dating Sim. Hatoful Boyfriend features you playing as the only human student enrolling at the prestigious St. PigeoNation Institute, a school for [the] birds.
This remake has an all-new scenario from series creator Hato Moa, as well as a new ending and tons of new story choices, so hardcore fans will have plenty more to enjoy.
