The difference between theoretical war and actual war is that in theory, if you want to just throw all of your troops against that machine gun nest, you can absolutely go and do it. In real life, they may court martial you for such horrendous judgment. Not in video games, though, and certainly not in Clash of Clans.

Youtuber Galadon is testing out a new series dubbed 'What Were You Thinking' that lets him, via suggestions from players, work out their own ridiculous ideas for strategies. You want to throw nothing but archers against the rampart? Let's see what happens. The result, while victorious, is a bit less effective than hoped for. But hey, it doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winning is winning.
A game like Clash of Clans lets you try all different strategies and obviously, not all of them are going to work. Getting to play god with your commandos and other infantry is one of the blessings of video games. It lets us work out our often ridiculous fantasies and also try something new and crazy, even if it's not successful. There will always be a next time with video games.

Galadon himself admits that he is no ultimate Clasher and the second game rather gets away from him. His Giants start wandering off, away from the healers and soon everyone is dead. Even the Archer Queen, that last hope among hopes, gets shut down before the end. He's a generally upbeat character, who is not above self-deprecation and goofiness. In the end, he may appear to be some sort of Clashing guru, but I think he just really wants to have some fun and tell people of his adventures.
