Today Bandai Namco has revealed the identity of the secret character they've been going on about since Dragon Ball Xenoverse's reveal at this yeare's E3, and he turned out to be anyone you want him to be.
While the character they showed off every time was a red-haired human male who had Trunks' jacket and was wearing a scouter, it turns out that he was just a placeholder for a brand new character creator, the most robust one in the series' history.
You'll be able to use physical features from the Earthling, Majin, and Namekian races, plus many more, outfitting your character and adjusting them to your heart's content. Once you create your character he or she will be summoned by Trunks "to complete a series of challenges that will set the player on his or her path in this great Dragon Ball adventure", starting off in a hub area called Toki Toki City, and you will play through the entire game as your own indivudual character.

What's more, Bandai Namco has announced that there will be a Closed Beta hitting for the game, although it has not divulged any info about it at all- what systems it will be for, how to get into it, etc.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse will likely be hitting sometime next year for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360, although there's no set release date just yet.
