Super Smash Bros 4 Characters Leak: Video Of Bowser Jr And Shulk Seemingly Confirms Full Roster Shown In Recent Images

Super Smash Bros Roster Leak Rumors Seemingly Confirmed By Leaked Video

The full Super Smash Bros. roster has seemingly leaked online, revealing the rest of the characters that had yet to be officially unveiled. If you'd rather the roster be a surprise, stay clear--both screenshots and video follow in this post.

The screenshots surfaced first last week starting on 4chan and eventually coming from various leakers--the circumstances of each are described on the NeoGAF thread in which they were compiled.

Images are easier to doctor than video, which is why the screenshots were mainly met with skepticism are first. The addition of video footage, however, goes a long way in verifying the leak as real. Several of the characters shown on the roster screen are seen in the video, which would take quite a lot of convincing work to fake.

Super Smash Bros 3DS Version's Classic Mode Details In Pic Of The Day

New characters in this supposed leak include Xenoblade's Shulk, Bowser Jr, and the dog from Duck Hunt, who had been rumored earlier. Returning (but so far not revealed) characters include Ness, Jigglypuff, and R.O.B., while those cut from the Brawl roster include Ice Climbers, Wolf, Lucas, Snake, and Wolf. Dark Pit and Dr. Mario clone characters have been added, as well, and there are rumors that some characters could be added as DLC.

There are some oddities, as the NeoGAF thread points out (no character names on the roster screen and some strange placements, for example), but it's hard to refute what you see in the videos below. The first shows Bowser Jr in action, while the second and third reveal Shulk. Nothing is official by any means, and this could be an elaborate fake, but don't be too surprised if at least some of these details are true.
