Divinity: Original Sin Devs Made A Monkey Math Game? 'Monkey Tales' Offers 5 Games For Price Of 1 On Steam [TRAILER]

Monkeys And Math: Two Great Tastes That Go Great Together

From the land of Brussels sprouts and Jean-Claude Van Damme, Larian Studios not only bring us classic turn-based RPG experiences like Divinity: Original Sin, it also teaches us how to count using monkeys and bananas. And they say games aren't art.

Divinity: Original Sin Blends Old School Mechanics With New Desiggn [REVIEW]

The Monkey Tales games were produced in close collaboration with several universities and are intended for kids ages 7-11. Each game is adapted for the child's grade level and complies with US Common Core Standards for that grade level.

Each game adjusts for difficulty as the child plays, ensuring an experience that is never too difficult or too easy. And there's no need to sit around and tell your kid s/he ain't "playing right" aka correcting him/her, since Monkey Tales handles all scoring and guidance on the exercises.

Nintendo eShop Update For This Week Includes Mega Man, Professor Layton

From the trailer the game certainly has an impish sense of humor (going off the "boring math" fake-out opener) and a razzle-dazzle sense of pacing and good cheer. With titles like Valley of the Jackal, how could any kid not be at least somewhat intrigued?
