PAX Prime Streaming Schedule: Keep Up With PAX News This Weekend Even If You're Not In Seattle

There's going to be plenty of video game news and events happening this weekend during PAX Prime, which runs from Friday, August 29, until Monday, September 1. Fortunately, several Twitch streams will be dedicated this weekend to keeping you up to date with everything going on in Seattle. Here's a breakdown of what you can watch and where. Note that all times are in PDT.

Main Stage Panels

PAX Prime's Main Stage will host panels all weekend, starring industry VIPs such as the creator of Final Fantasy and the teams behind Grim Fandango, both the original and upcoming remake. You can find the full schedule here and watch the panels live on the main PAX Twitch stream. The stream will be running all four days from 10 a.m. to midnight.

Hedgehog Stage Panels

The Hedgehog Stage panel schedule is packed much more tightly than the one for the Main Stage and includes a talk with Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune and an Antiques Roadshow-style panel for collectors of old games. The Hedgehog Stage schedule can be found here, and the panels will be streaming on the PAX2 Twitch channel all four days from 10 a.m.-10 p.m.

Twitch Booth

The Twitch booth will be streaming developer interviews, game news and gameplay videos every day of the convention from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. The video stream and the booth's schedule can be found over on the Twitch's own channel.

The Next Level

The Next Level is a gaming competition that pits hopeful contestants against each other in multiple games from multiple genres for the chance to win prizes like consoles and peripherals. The games will be streamed all four days from 12-6 p.m on The Next Level Twitch channel.

North American LCS Summer Playoffs

Watch four top League of Legends teams – LMQ, Cloud9, Team Solomid and Team Curse – compete to see who gets to move on to the championships in Korea. The tense action will be streaming on Riot Games' Twitch channel Friday through Sunday from 12-5 p.m.

Halo PAX Prime Showdown

Finally, PAX will be hosting a no-holds-barred tournament of Halo 2: Anniversary to celebrate the U.S. hands-on debut of the Master Chief Collection. You can check out the FPS action on the Halo Twitch channel Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
