The technology removes some of the OpenGL and puts the processor closer to the game itself. It looked good at Apple's WWDC, and it looked even better today. So good, it could rival the Xbox One and PS4.

And it certainly seemed good enough to attract the attention of some of the major game developers. Companies like EA, Disney and CD Projekt Red (The Witcher series) will all be bringing games to the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Game developer Super Evil Megacorp (yes, that is their real name) was on hand to show off their new MOBA title, Vainglory. The newest trailer, titled (LAN) Party, shows off the game in its tablet mode, but fear not, it will be coming to both of the new iPhones.

Utilizing iPhone 6 and Metal, "Vainglory can now deliver a level of graphics performance and resolution beyond that of a Blu Ray player on a new HD TV. That's higher quality than most current game consoles can deliver-in your bare hands!" according to the official site. The slow global rollout will begin in October starting in Southeast Asia.

It's definitely a game designed for the fastest processor. Check out the site for more details.

We're huge mobile gamers here, so we're definitely excited to see what companies like Ubisoft, Rebellion and Square Enix will bring to the power of the pocket.
