Destiny PS4 Bundle Releases With Glacier White Console, DualShock 4, 30-Day PS Plus Trial

New Glacier White PS4 Makes The Console Look Even More Like A Fridge

Destiny, Bungie's first new IP since 2001's Halo, released today, and with it comes the new Glacier White PlayStation 4 bundle.

The new bundle will set fans back $449.99, but it comes with a whole box full of goodies. Of course, a physical copy Bungie's new first-person shooter RPG that blurs the line between single player and multiplayer gameplay is featured in the bundle, and it comes with all of the game's exclusive PS4 content that includes new maps and weapons. An exclusive Glacier White PS4 console is also waiting for bundle buyers as well as a matcing white DualShock 4 controller.

To make sure players are able to experience Destiny's unique brand of online gameplay, the Glacier White bundle comes with a 30-Day trial for PlayStation Plus. And remember: A month of free PlayStation Plus means a month or two worth of PlayStation Plus free games (right now Plus members are looking at free copies of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale for PS3 and Velocity for PS4, among others).

Perhaps the most astounding thing about the new bundle, however, is that Sony took a console that already looked suspiciously like a refrigerator and somehow made it even more of a dead ringer for a fridge.

In Destiny, players take on the role of Guardians, defenders of the last vestige of humanity left on Earth. In the game, players explore settlements across the solar system in a post-apocalyptic setting. The game's multiplayer attempts to seamlessly connect the single player game with online play, using a matchmaking system to pair players up in this first-person shooter RPG.
