Hearthstone Curse Of Naxxramas Nerfs Leeroy Jenkins, Starving Buzzard -- Last Patch Before Blizzcon World Tournament

Blizzard Nerfs Leeroy Jenkins' Card

Do you like finishing off opponents with Leeeeeroy Jenkins in Hearthstone cuz of that sweet sweet low mana cost and high damage? You'd better adjust tactics from September 22 onward.

Original Dragon Quest Out For iOS and Android

That low mana cost, high damage output, huh? Yeah, the other guy gets two minions to defend himself, but let's be honest - how often have you ever seen those get any serious use? The fight's over before the opponent gets to use them. Leeroy Jenkins, neutral Legendary, is now more mana-intensive, going from 4 to 5, which will limit the amount of times you'll be able to do 20 (!) damage in a single turn.

Meanwhile, the Hunter-specific Starving Buzzard doesn't do anything as spectacular as Leeroy Jenkins, but its ability to let the Hunter draw cards has caused some games to get a little one-sided. For only two mana, Blizzard found this an unacceptably high return on investment. The card is now five mana, which seems like a steep increase, but its damage and health are both increased by one, to 3 and 2, respectively.

This will be the last Hearthstone update until the Hearthstone World Championship at Blizzcon this November.

The official Hearthstone forums over at Battle.net have announced all details about the upcoming Hearthstone patch, which will no doubt infuriate those who enjoyed a good meme-based finishing move.
