Hunger Games 3 Final Trailer: Watch Mockingjay Katniss Down Two Capital Dropships With One Arrow [VIDEO]

Katniss Pulls Off The Most Epic Trick Shot In This Mockingjay Trailer

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part I is one of the most anticipated sequels of all time, and the final trailer for the penultimate installment of the Hunger Games saga shows us just why people of all ages and genders are chomping at the bit to see Katniss Everdeen kick some post-apocalyptic butt.

When Fandango asked 1,000 people online at the end of Toronto's International Film Festival (or TIFF, if you will) which movies coming out in the period from September to November they were most looking forward to, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 came out the clear winner (unlike District 13 and the Capital in this damned war...). If you're curious: #2 and #3 were Ben Affleck thriller Gone Girl and Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan's new sci-fi epic Interstellar, respectively.

The trailer plays up the drama and high stakes of the Mockingjay rebellion, positing Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) as opposite pawns of the propaganda war between rebel leader Alma Coin (series newcomer Julianne Moore) and wide-eyed maniac President Coriolanus Snow (Donald Sutherland). And hey, Gale (Liam Hemsworth) gets to shoot an exploding arrow from a crossbow! There's one brief shot of Natalie Dormer as wartime correspondent Cressida, as well as fleeting glimpses of Sam Claflin as Finnick and Jeffrey Wright as Beetee, but this is all just warm-up for that final bit. Seriously, the money shot at the end is an all-timer.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 is out in theaters this November 21, and tickets will be available for pre-order from Fandango starting October 29.
