North Americans, our long twilight struggle is over. Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, hereby known as NSUNSR, has finally been released over here for Xbox 360, PS3 and Steam.

The game is the latest in a long line of successful Naruto titles. The previous games, NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 3 and Ultimate Ninja STORM Full Burst have sold 2 million units worldwide. NSUNSR, which loads the series up with even more content, is going to be a force to contend with.

NSUNSR boasts 100 characters from all chapters of the decades-long Naruto saga, and even introduces some newcomers, like the amazing Mecha Naruto, designed by creator Masashi Kishimoto.

Several new single-player modes are being introduced, as well. Ninja Escapade will give players new insight into the lives of some of their favorite characters and includes three new exclusive anime shorts, "Creation of the Akatsuki", "The Two Uchiha" and "Far Reaches of Hope".

The Ninja World Tournament mode brings contestants from every corner of the Ninja world spanning the Naruto and Naruto Shippuden story arcs together to find out who is the most powerful Ninja the world has ever known. Several new new match types will be available, including four-Ninja battles, allowing players to face off against three computer-controlled characters.

But this is a fighting game, the beauty is in the multiplayer mode. New breaks, combinations and combos, in addition to the wealth of fighters, should keep you playing and experimenting with the game for a good long while.
