New Smite MOBA Video Explains How To Customize Your HUD Or Get It Back To The Original

New Video Shows How To Get Your Smite HUB Back To Normal, For Those Who Hate Change

One of the changes in the most recent Smite patch was a rework of the game's heads-up display. For those who aren't exactly thrilled with the HUD's new look – or those who are just very particular about what they want their screen to look like – this new video from the Smite YouTube channel explains how players can customize their HUD to their liking.

New Smite Video Details How To Control Crowds With Ymir

The HUD editor can only be accessed during a game. To make sure you don't enter a competitive game just to leave your team high and dry while you mess with display elements, you can just enter a practice round until you're finished arranging your HUD.

Smite's HUD editor provides players with several tools to customize their displays. All elements can easily be resized to get them out of the way or to make them more prominent. Entire elements can be snapped to one edge of the screen or just hidden completely. Some elements even come with extra customization options, like the minimap's changeable opacity.

The Newest Smite Patch Did Much More Than Just Mess With Your HUD

For the design minded of you, the HUD editor even comes with a grid you can turn on so you can make extra sure that your HUD is properly aligned with the principles of feng shui. It's like being able to craft your own display in InDesign. For those who just want to get their HUD back to the way it was pre-update, the video gives a set of steps toward the end to get everything back to normal. Smite knows that MOBA diehards aren't the biggest fans of change.

Smite is free-to-play on PC.
