Prepare For A Showdown With Nisha In This Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! Walkthrough Video

Gearbox and 2K are on a Borderlands kick. Hot on the heels of their hilarious intro to Elpis, which is the main location in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! they're showing off the nuts and bolts of each new character. First up is fan favorite cowgirl, Nisha the Lawbringer.

Gaze Into The Abyss With This Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! Video

Nisha is actually one of the villains in Borderlands 2, but in the Pre-sequel she is just here to help. James Lopez (Producer at Gearbox) and Joel Eschler (Producer at 2k Australia) walk and talk us through the various skill trees available to Nisha and take to the skies in some ultimate gaming carnage. Sadly, they are not Hammerlock and Torgue, but really, who is?

The walkthrough is a continuation of the E3 demo. The main focus of Nisha, the ability her character is built around, is Showdown, which is essentially her version of god-mode. Her accuracy, reload speed, critical chance and even bullet speed (yes, you can make the bullets go even faster!) are all increased when activated and the best part, it's all done in a glorious Sergio Leone washed out Spaghetti western style complete with cheesy music. Nisha sure knows how to bring the law.

Pre-Sequel Skill Trees Unveiled

Nisha is best for the aggressive player, the kind of person who doesn't believe in slowly regenerating health. Send her in first to clear out the room of some of the larger enemies, get shot a lot, build up your rage and unleash. She's a bullet sponge and gets stronger with every hit she takes.

The three various skill trees, Law & Order, Fan the Hammer (the pistol tree) and the Riflewoman, which relies on running and gunning. The video focuses on the Law & Order tree, which more readily activates her ability to take a beating.
