New Razer DeathAdder Chroma Gaming Mouse Offers High-Accuracy Sensors, Tracking Analytics For Hardcore eSports Players

Razer's New Gaming Mouse Offers High-Accuracy Tracking, Performance Analytics And An Absurd Amount Of Colors

Game gear manufacturer Razer revealed today the newest model of its line of high-performance mouses, the Razer DeathAdder Chroma.

Touted as a preferred choice for eSports professionals, the DeathAdder Chroma focuses on providing a high level of performance and accuracy. It's 10,000 DPI optical sensor works even on glass surfaces and can register mouse movements as fast as 200 inches per second.

The mouse also comes enabled with Razer Synapse, a piece of software that allows users to go back and check stats like button presses, distance moved and a heatmap of where their mouse was during a match. It's the eSports equivalent of a quarterback going back and watching the tapes. You have to know how you play if you want to improve.

The mouse also allows for a certain amount of customizability. The DeathAdder Chroma's sensitivity can be tweaked and adjusted, even in the middle of a match. Five buttons on the mouse can be programmed to provide whatever function the users needs. Also, like Razer's other Chroma models, the light on the top of the mouse can be customized to display 16.8 million different colors (which is an impressive way of saying that it supports all hex values for colors). An open SDK coming later this year will even let developers program the mouse's colored light to change dynamically based on actions in a game.

The mouse is ergonomically designed for righties (sorry, southpaws) and comes with a 7-foot cable to give you plenty of room to maneuver while keeping you connected with your system.

The Razer DeathAdder Chroma will hit stores in October for $69.99.
