Smite MOBA Reveals New God Skins Alongside New God Announcement [VIDEO]

Two Gods In Smite Are Getting Some New Digs In Addition To The New God Announcement

The biggest news to come to Smite this past week was the announcement of a brand new playable god, but two existing gods were still upgraded this week with new threads.

A New Challenger Approaches! Roman God Sylvanus Joins Smite's Pantheon Of Combatants

The first god to get a new look was Chinese mage He Bo. As god of the Yellow River, He Bo's kit focuses on water based attacks. His new look, though, turns that water into constellations and galaxies with his Infinity Wave skin. The river god takes on an existential and pensive tone of voice as he douses his enemies in the water of the stars.

The other god who got a makeover is the guardian Kumbhakarna, the sleeping giant of Hindu mythology. In his new skin, Kumbhakarna takes off his rich ceremonial garb and slips into his pajamas for some Casual Friday combat. With his teddy bear and toothbrush in tow, Kumbhakarna looks like he's ready to get through his divine conflicts as quickly as possible before lumbering off to his buddy's house for a sleepover.

Both of these new skin announcements supplement the earlier news of a new playable god. The Roman forest god Sylvanus will join the ranks of the game's guardian class with his massive tree mount. Though Sylvanus has limited capacity for dealing out damage, he excels at setting up opportunities for his teammates and making sure they all stay in fighting condition. He's still in development, but Sylvanus looks set to become a powerful support character in the battleground of the gods.
