My calendar reads Thursday, October 2 and it is time for this week's Nintendo eShop update. Now, I'm told there's some sort of game that comes out tomorrow. What was it again? Something something sisters? Stepchildren? Nephews? No, that doesn't sound right...

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS - ohhhhh, brothers. I was close. The much anticipated 3DS version of Nintendo's premier cross-dimensional fighter series will finally release tomorrow, Friday October 3. Needless to say, we're a little bit excited about this game, so if you don't hear from us, this is the reason. The game boasts an impressive roster of dozens and dozens of Nintendo characters, from Mario to Punch Out!'s Little Mac. You can compete with your friends via local connection, or take to the internet for some online multiplayer action.

We sincerely expect an uptick in 'oh, I totally came down with some 24 hour bug' calls in to work around the globe tomorrow. You can purchase Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS either in-store or on the Nintendo eShop for $39.99.
