New Persona Q Shadow of the Labyrinth Trailers Show Off Story, Zen and Junpei Characters [VIDEOS]

Persona Q Trailers Show Off New And Familiar Faces

Persona Q Shadow of the Labyrinth, the first Persona game ever released for a Nintendo system, has the exact same flavor you'd expect for the series. Fan service is something it has in abundance, as it will bring characters from both Persona 3 and Persona 4 together in a brand new story.

Persona 5 Will Hit PS4 in 2015

This isn't the kind of RPG you'd expect from the long-running series, however, or a fighting game, for that matter.

Persona Q is a first-person dungeon crawler co-created by the development team from the Etrian Odyssey series, with all the usual map-making and exploration you'd expect from that wonderful series. Expect all of that and a whole lot of catchy J-pop.

ATLUS has just released three new trailers that show off the characters and the story.

First up is mysterious new character Zen. He appears in this new world with his partner Rei, and although he can't use a Persona he can use unique spells for every element type, which makes him extremely versatile. He also excels at ranged damage with his weapon of choice, a crossbow, which makes him best for keeping in the back line of your fighting formation.

Next we have Junpei Iori, who returns from Persona 3 and his recent appearance in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.

Unlike Zen he's got a Persona called Hermes and a two-handed weapon, which means that he's the best at dealing tons of damage. He has Agi-based attacks and belongs in the front lines of battle.

Last but not least we have the story trailer, which shows just how strange it is to have these universes colliding. It's got the same humor you'd expect from the series and while the style is more cartoony it's a blast seeing all these characters interacting and dealing with a new mystery.

Pesrona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth will hit on November 25 for the Nintendo 3DS, in both a regular and and a fully-stacked premium editions.
