Popular hybrid game Puzzle and Dragons has reached the 5 million download mark for its North American game, and developer GungHo is celebrating with two weeks' worth of special events.
Puzzle And Dragons Will Stop Supporting Older Mobile Operating Systems
The first big event is a change in the daily log-in bonuses. From October 9-15, players who log in will get a free Magic Stone every day. Further, they'll get a free Tamadra monster, the rare monster that sits at the center of the Awoken Skills game mechanic, every day until October 13. This next week also holds a collection of gift dungeons filled with powerful dragons for players to fight through.
The Tower of Jewels, the dungeon that holds plenty of Jewel and Metal dragons perfect for quick leveling up, will also be available for an extended time in honor of the celebration. From October 13-17, this dungeon will be open for players to jump in and get some easy leveling fuel for their monsters.

Finally, the event includes a collection of special multipliers that will make playing the game for the next two weeks all the sweeter. Drop rates for Normal dungeons will be increased as well as the odds of getting bonus experience points while leveling up your monsters. Need more money? Coin yields from the Weekend dungeon will be doubled. Monsters under-leveled? Jewel and Metal dragons will show up in their King variety twice as often and will be found throughout the event in the Pal Egg Machine.
