These Limited Edition Forever Batman Stamps represent the Batmen of four different eras of comic books. The burly modern Batman graces one of the stamps, as does the gaunt figure of the Bronze Age of comics and the campy look Batman sported in the Silver Age. Finally, the original Bob Kane design finishes out the set. There are also four stamps that each depict a different incarnation of the iconic Bat Signal.

The new collection serves as an honor of Batman's 75th anniversary being celebrated this year.

"For years, the Postal Service has celebrated so many of America's icons on its landmark stamps – and today, we're excited to honor one of the most iconic comic book super heroes in history," said USPS Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President James Cochrane in a release. "It's very fitting we're dedicating these Batman stamps during National Stamp Collecting Month because stamp collecting played a role in young Bruce Wayne's childhood in the 1950s comics."

As "forever" stamps, these Batman stamps will always retain their value and be able to send one letter in First Class mail. You can purchase a sheet on the USPS website store or another stamp-selling outlet.

The artwork on the stamps is fantastic, and it perfectly shows just how much the iconic Caped Crusader has evolved over the years, even if not too many people have an everyday need for stamps anymore.
