A new trailer for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire shows off Mega Latios and Mega Latias, along with their new Soar ability that allows you to freely fly through the skies of Hoenn. The demo for the title will be released on October 21.

The mega evolutions of Latios (available in Omega Ruby) and Latias (Alpha Sapphire) are not a big surprise, but there hasn't been anything like the Soar feature in any past title. You can freely control the flight of either Pokemon over the game's areas and towns, with special encounters known as Mirage Spots available in the sky--watch the trailer below to see Soar in action.
Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be out for 3DS on November 21.
