NBA 2K15 Mobile Brings Impressive Graphics, Full MyCareer Mode To iOS And Amazon Devices

NBA 2K15, released on consoles and PC last week, has now launched on mobile devices.

Minecraft For PS Vita Released In PlayStation Store Update

The basketball sim will sell as a premium, $7.99 title through the App Store and Amazon Fire devices--sorry other Android users. The game is developed by Visual Concepts, a 2K studio.

"With our latest NBA 2K15 mobile experience, fans have an opportunity to experience NBA action anywhere, anytime, in the palm of their hand," said Greg Thomas, President of Visual Concepts. "We are thrilled to bring NBA 2K's ultra-realistic gameplay and popular game modes to handheld devices."

HBO Will Be Available Without A Cable Subscription In 2015

The game won't stack up to the full-fledged, $60 console and PC versions, of course, but there are a decent amount of features crammed into the mobile edition. It offers a full MyCareer mode, a quick game mode, Pharrell's soundtrack, and better visuals and animations than in past mobile versions. You can check it out in the trailer below, which I think will impress most people in terms of graphics--the developers' claims of improved visuals certainly holds true, it looks good.

The game also offers controller support, which is more easily taken advantage of on some platforms than others. The game is available now for all iOS devices and Amazon's Fire phone, Fire HDX 8.9", Kindle Fire HDX tablets, and will launch soon to Fire TV.
