Task Forces, similar to Clash of Clans' clan system is about to drop. The new social mode allows players to join together and take on tougher missions together, all in the age old quest to destroy the Nazis--err...Blackguard.
Forum mod Tim unveiled the latest addition to the Task Force: Operations. A better way to communicate and command your forces while assaulting the Blackguard mainland. Basically, the intel you gather can be used to launch operations. These operations vary in difficulty depending on the level of the intel, but thankfully, will also grant greater rewards.
Boom Beach Introduces Task Forces In Upcoming Patch
We also learn of a new element: Force Points, which are the Boom Beach leaderboard equivalent to Clan Rating basically. The points offer more rewards for you and your Task Force and of course, the ability to form your own Marshall Plan when you and yours are the last ones left standing.
When the Task Force Leader, or his commanding Officers, launch their own Normandy invasion, at least two bases will be revealed for attack by the opposing forces. You only have 24 hours to finish the assault, as that is the length of all operations. Get in, get out and nobody gets hurt. Except the bad guys, of course.
