Neverwinter Rise Of Tiamat Module Release Date Announced For November; The Five Headed Dragon Returns In Time For Thanksgiving

Tiamat Will Rise This November For Fantasy MMO Neverwinter

Mark your calendars, folks for now is the season. The season of DRAGONS!

Destiny Patch Adds Halloween Themed Content

Neverwinter, the fantasy MMO from Perfect World and Cryptic, is getting the finale to its much heralded Season of Dragons event, The Rise of Tiamat, on November 18. The new content follows up the fourth module, the Tyranny of Dragons, released back in August. "As the Cult of the Dragon look to resurrect the five-headed draconic goddess Tiamat from the Nine Hells, adventurers must band together to prevent the catastrophic takeover of the city of Neverwinter."

Not a single thing in that sentence sounds like a good time. A five-headed dragon goddess? From how many Hells? If you will excuse me, I'll be on a beach sipping mai thais.

"Neverwinter: Rise of Tiamat also complements the storyline in the new tabletop adventure module from Wizards of the Coast." So you can take it to the dragon goddess both online and off.

In addition to fighting a Chimeric fire-breathing hellbeast, a host of other new content will be coming to Neverwinter. A new paragon path for the Scourge Warlock class will be made available, as well as new artifact gear for higher level veterans.

The story trailer, listed below, is tiny but mighty. You can start playing Neverwinter right now for free here. An Xbox One version is due out sometime early 2015.
