Adventure Time: Secret Of The Nameless Kingdom Goes Gold With Brand New Screens And A Release Date

Adventure Time: Secret of the Nameless Kingdom has officially gone gold and is out for production, publisher Little Orbit announced today, and we have some new screens and a specific release date to celebrate.

The game will be coming to Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC systems starting November 18. Players can either go pick up a physical copy in person or download it via the Nintendo eShop, PSN, the Xbox Marketplace or Steam. The game will also be coming to the PlayStation TV at the same time, helping the fledgling system expand its library of compatible titles.

The game is a classic action-adventure title, and it channels this era of games with its 16-bit art style and top-down perspective. Of course, the original and whimsical art style of the Adventure Time cartoon is still present. It shows up during dialogue between characters. In the spirit of classic adventure games, Secret of the Nameless Kingdom will have Finn traveling a wide map to solve puzzles, discover secrets and complete tasks for the cast of recognizable characters that'll be making cameo appearances throughout the game.

Tha game takes place in the Nameless Kingdom, a new setting made for the game. Finn is tasked with saving three potential princesses of this new kingdom and choosing just one to take up the throne. Finn will navigate both the overworld of Ooo and a series of dungeons in his quest to restore order to this new setting.

Adventure Time: Secret of the Nameless Kingdom will be available for the Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on November 18.
