2K has revealed MyNBA2K15, the companion app for the developer's recently released NBA 2K15. The app is available now on the App Store free of charge, and offers an array of features to supplement your console or PC title.

MyNBA2K15 will track and display your statistics and data from several main game modes. You can view your MyCareer season stats, check out your MyGM squad, and get an overview of your MyTeam or show it to friends. As 2K itself admits, though, the real draw of the app is to award players more Virtual Currency.

"The #1 draw to download the app is for people to earn extra VC so we've made this more interesting in MyNBA2K15 by allowing you to make more choices," the press release explains. "The way it works is that you'll draw up to 6 cards at a time. VC cards will each have different amount of VC on them (200 VC, 300 VC, etc.). Once every 24 hours you can choose to turn in 3 of those VC cards and get the combined VC amount added to your account."

In short: free VC is there if you want it, with minimal hassle. Additionally, you can bet on which teams will win the real-life NBA games each night for a VC reward--50 for each you get right. That VC can be spent in-app at the MyPlayer Store, which will unlock the same clothes and items you purchase in the full game itself.

MyTeam Mobile card collection returns, a standalone game for the app now with improved matchmaking and gameplay features. Rounding out the app are the abilities to enter Locker codes on your mobile device instead of just on console, and a MyPark Chat feature. MyNBA2K15 is available here for iOS devices.
