Bioshock Infinite The Complete Edition Available Now For Xbox 360 And PS3; Includes All DLC And Add Ons, New Trailer [VIDEO]
There is no better time to return to Columbia, or make the first trip, than today. 2K Games has released Bioshock Infinite: The Complete Edition, a new bundle which includes the original, venerated title as well as both chapters of the Burial at Sea DLC and all available add on-packs.
The game will retail for $39.99 for both Xbox 360 and PS3, a $50 value. Though, frankly speaking, the game itself is worth the price alone. The third and hopefully final chapter in Ken Levine's anti-objectivist trilogy of titles, Infinite takes players on an FPS adventure to the floating city of Columbia to rescue a very special young woman. That's where the story starts, but where it can go is, frankly, 'infinite'. The ending is, to me, one of the finest acts of storytelling in recent memory.
In addition to the Burial at Sea DLC, which puts you in the role of Elizabeth, the complete edition also includes several add-on costume and weapons packs:
Clash in the Clouds Add-On Pack
Industrial Revolution Rewards Pack
BioShock Infinite Upgrade Pack
Columbia's Finest Pack
Comstock's China Broom Shotgun
Comstock's Bird's Eye Sniper Rifle
We here at GameNGuide disagree somewhat on the game's (very young) legacy. The game's morality is a bit skewed- why would racist, god-obsessed jerks have these human enhancement powers just lying around?- and it's sometimes hard to root for Booker when he's literally shooting everyone in sight. But the gameplay is exciting and the story is brilliant.
We'll see where Infinite stands in the history of video gaming in the years to come. For now, though, you can pick up Bioshock Infinte: The Complete Edition. You will not regret the decision.
