Pokemon Omega Ruby And Alpha Sapphire EON Ticket Details Revealed, Learn What You'll Need To Access Latios And Latias

The Pokémon Company has revealed details on how to obtain EON Tickets in the upcoming Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

EON Tickets allow you to travel to Hoenn's Southern Island in-game, which is the location where you can catch Latios (Omega Ruby) and Latias (Alpha Sapphire).

The process for acquiring the tickets (and eventually being able to distribute them to other players) is a bit complicated, but we're here to help. The developers will provide serial codes to Play! Pokémon organizers and some Streetpass communities around North America to seed EON Tickets out in the wild. These codes will become active when the games launch on November 21, and players can then redeem them in game using the Mystery Gift function.

You might think the gift will directly turn into an EON Ticket, but that'd be too easy-an extra step is required. The Mystery Gift will result in a Wonder Card, which you must take to a Pokémon Center and hand to one of the attendants in a blue uniform.

That's where you can finally acquire your EON Ticket, many steps later, and begin sharing it with other players. This is done automatically through StreetPass, as long as the feature is turned on in your BuzzNav. You'll get a notification when you've received an EON Ticket from another player, which you must return to an attendant to acquire.

Got all that? It's not actually that complicated, just a little longer of a process than it needs to be. It's a neat way to spread EON Tickets through the community, and it will be interesting to see how it unfolds.
