Destiny Xur Location And Items For November 8: Exotic Rocket Launcher Truth On Sale Alongside 3 Different Armor Types This Weekend

The weekend has arrived, meaning mysterious Destiny merchant Xur is back, as well. The vendor is the only one in the game to sell exotic weapons, and every week is different than the last.

A Guide To Exotic Gear In Destiny

Xur is always in a new location from one week to the next, and his stock differs every time. He appears on Friday and departs (usually early) on Sunday, offering one exotic armor item for each class, an exotic weapon, and an exotic engram to gamble on.

This week, Xur is hanging out in the Hangar portion of the Tower, immediately to the right after leaving the long entry hallway and going down the first flight of stairs. You don't need to go down to where the Hangar's vendors are--he's on the first landing off the the right, somewhere he's been before.

Destiny 2 Wishlist: Our Top 5 Desired Changes For Bungie's Confirmed Sequel

The last two weeks had similar items, but it's a toal change this time around. Each class has a different armor piece on sale this week, with a chest piece (Crest Of Alpha Lupi) for Titans, a helmet (Mask Of The Third Man) for Hunters, and some gauntlets (Sunbreakers) for Warlocks. These are three very good armor pieces--now's a good time to spend those Strange Coins you've stored up. The exotic engram this week is a helmet, and costs you Motes of Light rather than Strange Coins.

The weekly weapon is the exotic rocket launcher Truth, which was offered a few weeks ago. Its rounds aggressively seek enemies, and will detonate early if in close proximity. It will basically help you hit targets more easily, and as an exotic weapons, it also does a lot of damage and has a huge blast radius. As usual, it costs 17 Strange Coins.
